With US made 92's, I can swap a D spring by only taking one grip off and no tools beyond that. The only thing that's tricky about a D-spring swap is if your guns are made in Italy as they use a roll pin vs. You can only control what you can control.
No need to thread it or lock it into any holes. You'd have to try real hard to mess this up. I'd rather be hated for who I am than loved for who I'm not. Threaded on the tab? Pushed against it? Thanks in advance.

The DA pull went from around 6lbs 3oz to around 5.4oz measured with a Lyman Trigger Gauge. I recently purchased the LTT 92 Elite Compact with the trigger job and while the 13# hammer spring was very nice my damaged and weak arthritic fingers needed an even lighter DA trigger pull.

Trigger pull weights are still heavy enough that unintentional or premature shots are not a concern for conceal carry. Single action pull was slightly reduced and I experienced a slight improvement in groups when firing single-action. Double-action groups with the 11-pound hammer spring are better compared to the 'D' spring. Now the shot just breaks without requiring increasing force on the trigger as you approach the break point. The LTT 11-pound hammer spring has eliminated the stacking. The double-action trigger pull stacked near the break point requiring more force to finally break the shot. I' ve had the Beretta 'D' hammer spring installed in my 9mm Px4 compact for over 3 years. Doesnt stiffen up at the end like the fsctory wieght spring. Dramaticaly improve the double action pull.
